Training warhammer for HEMA and other martial arts designed to simulate a late medieval European warhammer or horseman's pick. It contains one warhammer head along with a spiked handle end and corresponding 24 inch hickory handle. For shipping purposes the handle end does not come secured and must be attached by drilling to the hickory handle with four provided screws. The hammer face has a low shock absorption when compared to axe head designs and is recommended for use only with heavier protective equipment, including face, groin, hand, and body protection.
The handle can be paired with any Giant's Tomb axe, hammer, mace, or other weapon head for easy removal and interchangeability. It is made from durable hickory hardwood and is designed to simulate a reasonable handle weight distribution for a variety of weapons.
