Training great-axe head (Dane axe) for HEMA and other martial arts. This kit includes the great-axe head, a snap handle end cap, and four screws for cap installation to your own custom length handle (no wooden handle included).
The snap handle cap can be easily attached to any 1 inch (2.5 cm) diameter haft, or to larger hafts with the end shaved to ~1"x1.25" and is fastened by the four screws provided, please reach out with any questions on handle fitting. The resulting handle can be paired with any Giant's Tomb axe, hammer, mace, or other weapon head for easy removal and interchangeability.
The great-axe is designed to simulate a two handed axe of the Viking age. It is removable and replaceable when paired with Giant's Tomb handles.
