Training axe for HEMA and other martial arts, containing one axe head and handle to get you in the fight quickly. It includes one horseman's axe head along with a spiked handle end and corresponding 24 inch hickory dowel. For shipping purposes the handle end does not come secured and must be attached by drilling to the hickory handle with four provided screws. Use protective gloves, groin protection, and fencing mask at a minimum.
The handle can be paired with any Giant's Tomb axe, hammer, mace, or other weapon head for easy removal and interchangeability. It is made from durable hickory hardwood and is designed to simulate a reasonable handle weight distribution for a variety of weapons.
